My stay was quite unfortunate. The lobby had a terrible smell, and I found the bed unsleepable due to unclean sheets and a messy bathroom. Won't go back.

My wife says that the hotel could use some family-friendly activities on-site, like a playground or game room.

The hotel offered a large, comfortable space with great pillows and an excellent breakfast selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was lacking as I found hair in the shower, and the ice machine was out of order. Still, the experience felt mostly positive.

Breakfast had a wide range of options and the beds were comfortable. The renovations made the room smell of paint.

The room was spacious with a super comfy bed and great pillows! I really liked the large bathroom, especially the bright lighting that made getting ready easy. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was really friendly. I loved the breakfast options too. everything was delicious! No major complaints except for a few small things, like the couch fabric needing some TLC.

I had a fantastic time with my friends during our stay. The staff was super friendly and helped us find guided fishing trips nearby. We loved exploring the Roanoke River for kayaking and other water adventures. Breakfast options were fresh and plentiful!

The WiFi was a bit slow, which was frustrating at times, but it didn’t ruin our fun.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Plymouth had its ups and downs. The check-in experience went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my spacious room with a comfortable king bed and a nice coffee area. Breakfast exceeded my expectations with plenty of delicious options. However, there were several issues that need attention. The internet connectivity was frustratingly poor, and the ice machine on my floor was out of order. I found some water stains in the hallway ceiling, which made the area feel less well-maintained. One of the pillows was stained, which really should have been replaced. Overall, I appreciated the staff's efforts, but the hotel really needs some upkeep to stay in better shape.
